When you purchase products or request custom 3D printing quotes on spruceprint.ca, we collect the following personal information necessary to fulfill your orders:
- Contact Information: Name, shipping address, billing address, email address, and phone number.
- Order & File Details: Custom 3D design files (STL, OBJ, STEP), dimensional specifications, filament color preferences, and order notes.
- Transaction Data: Payment confirmation and order history. (Note: We do NOT store or have access to your full credit card numbers or CVV codes; all transactions are encrypted and processed by PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateways).
- Technical & Browsing Data: IP address, device type, browser type, and anonymous session cookies to maintain your shopping cart.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information strictly for legitimate commercial purposes, including:
- Manufacturing, slicing, and delivering your custom 3D printed orders.
- Communicating order status updates, tracking numbers, and custom design approvals.
- Processing secure payments, calculating Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax (HST 13%), and preventing fraudulent transactions.
- Responding to customer service inquiries and return/warranty requests.
