Turnaround
How fast do orders print and ship?
Standard catalog items are printed, inspected, and dispatched from our Scarborough, ON studio within 1–3 business days. Custom or personalised projects typically require 2–4 business days following digital proof approval, depending on print hours, batch size, and material color swaps.
Files
What 3D file formats do you accept for custom orders?
We accept .STL, .3MF, .STEP, .OBJ, and .ZIP files (up to 50MB) via our Custom Orders portal. .STEP and .3MF files are strongly preferred for mechanical and multi-color builds, as they preserve exact vector curves, assembly hierarchy, and color assignments.
Materials
What materials and filaments do you print with?
We maintain calibrated profiles on our Bambu Lab P2S fleet for three core engineering materials:
• PLA & Tough PLA: Plant-derived thermoplastic ideal for everyday home/desk prints, geometric organisers, and detailed aesthetic models.
• PETG: Chemical-, water-, and temperature-resistant polymer suited for functional brackets, automotive clips, and outdoor fixtures.
• TPU 95A: Flexible rubber-like elastomer engineered for impact bumpers, non-slip feet, gaskets, and vibration isolators.

Proofs
How does personalisation and digital proofing work?
For custom engraved prints, dual-name optical illusions, and lithophane photo lamps, we create a digital render/proof and email it to you for confirmation before starting the build. Production begins once you approve the proof, ensuring zero spelling mistakes or formatting errors.
Delivery
How are orders shipped, and will I receive tracking?
All orders ship Canada-wide from our studio in Scarborough, ON using Canada Post tracked parcel service. Regional couriers or UPS may also be utilized where faster delivery is possible. You will receive an automated dispatch notification with your tracking number the moment your package is scanned.

What is the difference between Shop orders and Custom orders?
• Shop Orders (/shop/): Pre-engineered everyday models with preset dimensions, fixed pricing, and instant online checkout.
• Custom Orders (/custom-orders/): Made-to-order builds from your own CAD/STL files, discontinued household replacement parts, or specialized dimensions. Every custom upload receives a complimentary slicing and printability review.

Pickup
Is local pickup available in Ontario?
Yes. Local pickup is available upon request for select Ontario locations. If you prefer pickup over Canada Post delivery, simply note this during checkout or contact us at info@spruceprint.ca. We will coordinate a secure handover window once your build is completed and quality-checked.
Batches
Do you offer small-batch manufacturing for businesses?
Yes! Our Bambu Lab P2S fleet handles low-volume production runs of 10 to 500 units. We offer tier volume discounts, material testing, and rapid turnaround for Ontario hardware startups, architectural modeling, and specialized components. Explore our Services page or email us with your CAD model.
